Shivani has completed her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from KIIT School of Management, Odisha. Her pursuit of learning social entrepreneurship, honed further by start-up incubators of B-schools like Indian School of Business and mentoring, led her to The Vedica Scholars Programme.

She indulges in reading and listening to synthwave music when she is not brainstorming ideas to conserve the environment. She strongly believes in equal opportunities for everybody and social justice. She volunteers at organizations and NGOs that aim to create safe spaces for sexual harassment and abuse survivors.
