Amit, 47 years old, is an Accountant and Management graduate by qualification and is based in Singapore. Amit is the Founder and Chief Investment officer (CIO) of Amaya Growth Fund in India, a category III long-only Indian Equity market AIF registered with SEBI.
As the Founder and Managing Director of Phoenix Advisers, Amit has advised on various complex education and real estate transactions and advises funds on Indian investment opportunities. Phoenix has two offices: Delhi and Singapore.
At Amaya Ventures, a single-family office registered in Singapore with a 13O exemption from MAS, Amit oversees his family\'s investments across asset classes globally. Amit also serves as Chairman of the Asia Board of HONO.AI.
In his previous roles as CEO of InterGlobe Real Estate Ventures, Amit set up a Real Estate fund for InterGlobe Enterprises and managed an AUM of $350m.
Before his role at InterGlobe, Amit founded \'The Phoenix Fund\', a SEBI-registered Portfolio Management Scheme for which Amit was the CIO.
He was also the founder and director of GRAAVAA, which mined, processed, and retailed natural stone (Granite, Marble, Travertine, Onyx, and Semi-Precious Stones).
Amit is also a keen collector of modern Indian art and has started broadening his horizons by collecting Southeast Asian Art.
At his alma mater, ISB, Amit is a Benefactor, has served on the advisory council of the Endowment Fund, and was a member of the Admissions Committee for several years. He was also instrumental in conceptualising and seeding the school\'s endowment and is one of the co-founders of ISB\'s Family Business Forum. Currently, Amit chairs the Advisory Board of I-Ventures Immersive (IVI), a program for startups.
Amit has served on the advisory board of Udayan Care, an NGO for abandoned and orphaned children, and is a Founding Philanthropist at the Nudge Institute. Through the Amaya Foundation (Singapore), Amit is working with Institutes of Public Character (IPC) and the Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA) to benefit Senior Citizens and Children\'s Education.
Amit was also part of \"Champions of Change,\" a policymaking program initiated by Niti Aayog, India. He is a member of the YPO Delhi and YPO Pan Asia Chapters, where he serves as the Assistant Learning Officer. He also serves on the Harvard Club of Singapore\'s nomination committee for 2024-25 and 2025-26.
