Hails from a small village of Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh and considers herself an "explorer". She did her schooling from Vidyagyan School (Shiv Nadar Foundation), where adult literacy, sanitation and hygiene programmes were initiated by her in the villages. She did her Bachelor's in Geography from University of Delhi and was a Decoration Head for organizing the events. She has interned with Shiv Nadar Foundation and Curious Times Newspaper. Deepti explorers her creative side through crafting, painting, mandalas, cooking and gardening and has a keen orientation towards social welfare.
